Too many great shots to call them all. But still, congrats to Jim, Lars, thebratts, just on this last page. And my favorite this time around: pingflood!
Very nice shots Robert. In the first two, I guess you were going for resolution? It is hard to see that they are panos at all, with so much DoF and very natural angles of view (although wider than 35).
I was under the impression that you are loosely planning/hoping to sell your Canon gear and move to NEX. Is this wrong? Perhaps it depends on the NEX-7? I have to admit that after seeing one video review of the NEX-7 I was very impressed. I will watch it closely.
I do wish that some of these mirrorless cameras would come closer to FF than 1.5x. Even 1.2-1.3x might make me a lot more interested, since I could then conceivably sell off my big gear, but 1.5x just doesn't do it for me, and I prefer to *add* a 2x crop camera to my bag than to replace with/add a 1.5x camera.
Yeah it was purely because I was using my girlfriends crop camera. I did have my 21ZE with me but just wanted to play around a bit more and see what came of it. The shot isn't the most exciting but I like the extra detail and sharpness it achieves.

Definitely a very valid reason for stitching! Just getting into a lens' sweet spot is good enough reason.
I printed your Ferrari shot, btw, but am not completely satisfied with my paper choice (SIHL Baryt). The red is slightly dull, and the blacks are not dense enough. I think I will try again on Hahnemühle Bright White Photo Rag, but this means switching to matte black in my R2400, so I am hesitating. I want to finish testing the SIHL paper before switching, so that I can make an informed choice for my paper of the future. It could take a couple of weeks… How is your printing of the tree coming along?
Anyone want to comment on the difference in rendering between the ZM 35/2 and ZM C 35/2.8? I'm considering getting one of the other for a NEX that is in my future.
