Abhijeeth, those last two shots of yours are breathtaking, the last one in particular!
Regarding the boiler on the river boat, it is a coal-heated one, so it produces whisky rather than other spirits. Bootleg, of course...

Brandon: this is from the same place? [abandoned prison?] - good series. Do they let you wander in and take pics without any issues? [hopefully that is the case]
Yes, all the recent shots I have posted were from the old prison/reformatory (except the tulip shots).
They generally offer guided tours, though I believe you can take a self-guided tour on weekdays now. I was there for a sort of special access photography day where tripods and "pro" equipment were permitted. They pretty much let us wander wherever we wanted.

I'll miss someone if I try to hit everyone, but Bob, Abhijeeth, Peter, Hugo, Lars, and everyone... keep up the phenominal work.
Abhijeeth, my keeper rate with slow to medium movement on the 100/f2 is pretty good actually... I find the lens is very smooth and at the FL fairly forgiving for a MF lens. Anything moving fast is really hit or miss and a lot of guessing. Having enough DOF of course helps, but the focus throw is so good that even moving subjects are possible...
I may not always get it nailed, but it sure helps the way the 100/f2MP handles. I could never do moving subjects well with the Nikkor 105/f2.5AIS and its short sloppy focus throw.
te4o:I like your 3rd pic (from the ZE21). The slightly strong vignetting in that one gives it some drama and appeal IMHO.
Lars, I think the copper thing on the boat is for making plum brandy - possibly VATfree (international waters?)

Peter: the subtle grain in the BW adds to the mood...nice...
Brandon: Surprised to read about that [pleasantly so]. Thanks.
Lars: I love the shot with the slightly purple/magenta background. It makes the warm
hued subject pop more [along with the shallow DoF].
Ulff: Very nice shot and very good control over the exposure.
cyra, dj_dunzie: BIF with MF glass - respect !
dj_dunzie and to all the 100MP owners/posters who replied: Thanks for sharing your experiences. For me, the 100/2 CY is in one way easier to focus because of the subject size in the VF. However at f/2 and for portraits [if not nicely lit], then I find that I have to bracket focus or concentrate extra to get an in focus shot. And this if for co-operating subjects [family!]. I have not tried for fast moving subjects [birds, kids or F1 cars!]
With 21mm, the size of distant objects in the VF is small, but the smooth focus ring and its deep DoF makes life very easy. Somehow I have also not had a problem with my keeper rate wide-open for close-ups.
With the 50MP, at distances less <2m, I can manage reasonably well. Between 2 to 30m,I have to really work for it. I don't wear glasses and I use the Eg-S screen. Have crudely checked my diopter settings but may have to fine-tune it again maybe with Live View.
Gunzorro, having fun with your new acquisition, eh? Nice!
Akul: amazing! The first, third and last of the "wooded" set are my favorites. Love to see the NEX demonstrating what an imazing image maker it is relative to cost and siez, in the right hands, of course!
DJ, cyra, congratulations for achieving such resluts. I don't even dare tell you what happened when I tried to capture a gorgeous fly-by of grey geese in the mist of Versailles!
Ullff, another mind-blowing shot. Absolutely fabulous, wall-hanging stuff!
Brandon: brilliant catch! Minimalist approach to such a place integrates the huge amount of detail into a simple, and all the more powerful statement about what this reformatory was about...
Gunzorro, nice details.
dj dunzie, fantastic focus with manual lens.
Ulff, love the way you managed the exposure.
cyra, woh! Great work.
mjassbong, nice use of DOF.
akul, fantastic series! 1st one is simply superb.
bpark42, nice colors.
