Boris, this set is even nicer than the previous ones IMHO...
Maybe they are more interesting regarding the rendering character of the lenses. That's why I posted them in this thread. But from an artistic and emotional point of view I prefer the other images.

If you love it, you'll use it. If you use it, you need it.
Need anymore convincing?
Bob
Bob actually problem is with me i guess not the lens, so i should spend more time with this lens but seriously i have seen no macros taken with 100 and 50 MP

I have seen some macro images here on this thread but they are not 1:1 macro lenses. I love them for their rendering and sharpness wide open and then the flexibility of using it for macro type shots. The slight vignetting on these lenses at f/2 is wonderful and there is little if any loss of sharpness.

Guys do you have any real macros taken with 50 MP?
By the way 50 MP close focus shot, i'm suspicious about this lens, i love it but i'm not convinced that i really need it
I'm not a skilled macro shooter, but here's a handheld spur-of-the-moment macro-type shot that came out pretty well through the 50MP thanks to the beautiful bokeh wide-open:
I think it works pretty well for only a 1:2 magnification ratio.
That's a great bee shot with the 50mp. I have found that the 50 and the 100 mp's take extension tubes really well.
Here a couple of quick shots of Cactus flower I previously posted with no tubes straight off the camera using the 100mp.
And then using three Kenko extension tubes stacked between the 100mp and my 5D2, all handheld:
The small parts of a full blum:
And one that is barely a pulp yet:
Here is one with the 50mp no tubes outdoors:
So, real macro is fairly easy to achieve! And of course you still have the wonderful colors and rendering that I could not get with my canon lenses, without some real time in PP.
Bob - nice Hague series - love the bench shot!
Mortyb - beautiful church photo
Mshi and Dalmas - congrats for your new Zeiss purchases
Here attached a series of shot of our Governor's new building (located in a new downtown, that they are building from scratch in a depressed area of Milan). All with ZE21:

Thanks fracas, I love those shots with the building disappearing up in the mist.

a nice portrait of the horse indeed! I hope you enjoy your Zeiss 35 and are not regretting bypassing 35L yet.
Thank you!
Nope, im 100% happy with my zeiss and I'm glad I didnt buy the 35L. The Zeiss is more of a challenge, which I like, and it gives me (due to MF) the feeling of getting more in contact with the subjects I take a photograph of. (not sure how to explain this)
Mortyb nice light and 3 effect.
rji2goleez i love the perspective on the first one, and the symmetry on the 4.
Bobu great color and contrast.
fracas my favorite is the third, love the way how the building disappear in the middle of the fog.
Mshi and Dalmas congratulations.
