philber: Crazy view, wish I could be there. (Your back yard right? hehe)
Diploneis: Very interesting second shot. Took a while to actually see what was there but once I did, brilliant. Also really love the square crop of the building facade and the planter. Great series.
charles.K: Thanks dude.
rji2goleez: That purple leaf is so eye catching. Gives me an idea for next fall, a series of framed leaf shots for my wall. Each one with a different but vibrant tone.
Lars: Must not be windy over there for all of the leaves to create a puddle like that. Cool shot.
MJ: beautiful autumn colors!
Luka: great shots with Leica!
Gary: fits well for Halloween!
Lars: beautiful autumn moods!
Rsolti: lovely low light pics!
Makten: good stuff for chilly evenings!
Dimitris: superb comp in second one!
Snowboarder: nice light in all and first is exceptional!
Philber: nice perspective!
Rji2goleez: great details and colors!
Lars: love the carpet of leaves!
Thanks everybody for your comments!

Incredible images everyone - Martynas, your last series is beautiful, this photo "the roots of religion" is my favorite: Is it a reflection really or a digital composite?
cheers
Bernie
Thank you! It is a reflection and actually I haven't done anything at all to this pic (except rotated it 180 degrees) - is just as as it came from camera!
Yesterday was a busy day running errands but I knew I wanted to make it back home in time for sunset. The weather wasn't exactly exceptional and it was shaping up to be an overcast, boring, grey shoot. And then this happened...
At one point I was so caught up with shooting this magnificent sunset that I did not realize the tide was getting higher. SPLASH! There goes my dry socks and pants. Definitely worth the sacrifice though.

Very nice photos and processing, Bernie. Now I am behind. I am almost afraid to post something after this
I wanted to wait for the 35/1.4 but the more I look at photos from the 35/2, and try it myself too of course, the more I think it is something special, and I should just get one. Hmm.
Makten, my god, what did you do to sharpen that? I think each pixel introduces new material to the shot
Guys, I have been holding out for the 35 f:1.4 since April, when my 35 f:2.0 was stolen. Next week there is a photo show in Paris, where the distributor ought to show the lens. I will be there, and hopefully, I can run quick-and-dirty set of pics with both 35s. Last year they did show ZE 28 and 35 even though they weren't available yet, so I am hopeful. If that is the case, I shall report in the pay section of my Website. Life membership only, @ 100.000.000 rubles... except for you guys, of course.
Makten: holy cow… talk about sharp and detailed from corner to corner. So much detail my eyes don't know where to go first.
Carstenw: The way I look at it, I am overjoyed to have bought my 35/2, for if I had not, I probably would have missed out on some of my most memorable photos. Plus, you can always resell it and get the 35/1.4 later on. (You don't have a wife do you? Do I have to sleep with one eye open now? Hehehe)
dimitris77: Thats exactly what I did.
Philber: sweet =)
rji2golees: Love the first shot, no straight horizontal lines, various textures, and lovely light.
rji2goleez: very moody autumn macros! Nice colors!
Gary: lovely low light shots, I particularly like the windmill shot - surreal and wonderful!
Bernie: the fiesta of textures! Just superb!
MJ: those shots reminded me home! Really lovely!
Makten: you set new standard for what is called "detailed" shot!
Jon: cool ride!
rji2goleez: another nice set of textures and shapes!
dimitris: nice shot!
