Beautiful! What was your vantage point for these. I go to Yokohama one or twice a year. I was there in June but I don't recognize where you took these from.
Im continually told that Manual focus is a tough call, no good for babies, model shoots, portraits, Ive heard it all (over and over) ... you must have been focusing like a demon for this one

As for the diffraction stars - they vary by aperture. Typically smaller apertures give more distinct stars.
Thanks Luka - I reposted what is now the last in the series as I edited the white balance yet again. I'll have to play with the aperture to see what effects I can get.
As for handholding, I would love the master it with the 100MP but seems like it will take some time. Is there a Zeiss in the line, suitable for portraits that you think is relatively easier to handhold for sharp images?
I finally got the ZE 50. What a pleasure working with a 'normal' lens! It's so right in the middle. This rounds out my Zeiss shorter lens lineup, now consisting of the 21, 35, 50, and 85 all in Canon mount.
