I was checking on the A7 + 50C sonnar combo as my lightweight portrait only camera. I will not use it like you guys do.

but for some reason... I am seeing a lot problem threads with Sony A7xx series... or if you get one you need to modify them to work properly.


so for now I am banking on this used original RX1 [ original ] as my light weight camera for portraits.

below is what I like to execute with A7 + Zeiss 1.5/50 C Sonnar

Both images are stitched panoramas using the Zeiss Makro-Planar 100mm f/2 ZF. Nikon D810, 1/60sec, f/8, ISO 64. Location was at the Waterberg, Namibia.

For the bokeh haters.

Looks like it's possible to provoke bubble-bokeh on this lens. Well not really bubble like the gorlitz., ---- it's half-assed bubbles.
