First edited image from an autumn trip to Colorado that I returned from last night. This was shot in the morning at a beaver pond near Marble, Colorado. It was my first real use of the Zeiss zf.2 25mm f/2 lens that I recently purchased from another FMer. I have to say - this lens is incredible and I have been thrilled by what I have seen so far from using it.
WOW. Beautiful time of day, so very well brought in to this shot.
During the two weeks in Colorado, I focused primarily on shooting fall color landscapes. Have several images that I am still working on. One of the last things that we did was to take the Durango to Silverton train ride. While it is a beautiful ride, it is not optimal for photography in my opinion. Too much contrast is probably the biggest issue, aside from trying to shoot from a moving platform. What I ended up doing on the return was to play around with ICM. These abstract images ended up being the most interesting. They are not everyone's cup of tea, but I really enjoy them.
Hi everyone im Aldo and ive joined the manual focus club. Ive been shooting birds and wild life for years and now im slowing down a bit lol and enjoying the scenery more. I picked up a Milvus 21 and an Otus 55.
Am i in the correct thread lol i see theres a separate otus thread.

Was able to enjoy the beautiful fall day by going for a nice walk with my pal. Had my Nikon Df/Zeiss APO 135 combo along to take a quick pic.
