jbouchard: Last Frog shot is on closest focusing distance .. so 20-25 cm (10inch ) is probably the frontglass from the frog.. The Pool frog they come almost up to you if you just sit down for a while, waiting .. in the beginning are they a little shy but after a while they get used to you
I use extension tubes most of the times on 100MP to get more magnification

I like the new A7R II and the biggest advantage for me is probably IBIS compared to the old A7
also ISO performance is noticeably better .. AF performance should be a clear improvement from the old A7 .. none of that I noticed... I never use the AF-lens
There are both advantages and disadvantages of the Sony mirrorless system against Dslr .. I am generally pleased with the change that I did a couple of years ago .. Had Nikon before

John, great use of the 85 Milvus! The background just melts on the first girl, and the shrubbery has nice 3D pop. I love using the lens, but yes, it's kind of a beast... I don't tend to use it for "just walking around" much. It tends to be something where I see the shot and decide to pull it out of the bag.
A while ago in this thread there was a cluster of a few pages with some really impressive shots with the 25/2.8, a lens I hadn't paid much attention to. I'd read a couple of unfavorable reviews, and just didn't think about it. But these shots really impressed me, and so I logged away in the back of my mind to reconsider ZF 25/2.8. Then I read the field curvature makes it test poorly on flat paper targets, but, on the other hand, that's the kind of thing that makes for cool rendering in some cases. One popped up on the big auction site for cheap, and I got it for a lot less than it should have gone for. I'm waiting for it to arrive some day soon..
Anyway, if you've got any 25/2.8 shots you've been wanting to put up but haven't got around to it, please put them up!

Nice image! I love how the blossoms sprinkle just enough color throughout to make it interesting! Well seen.
Visited a local auto show and took a few handheld images with the Nikon Df and Zeiss 135mm F/2 APO ZF.2
It was a lot of fun seeing these old time classics that are so well cared for and cherished by their owners. A very passionate group of individuals who are a great pleasure to visit with.
