Thanks so much, CP! I appreciate you taking time to comment. So glad you like it! As you probably know if you've been over at the the B & W forum, this is the latest in my B & W flower series. I still am having a hard time figuring out whether or not I ought to risk a B & W in a contest devoted to flowers, which are inherently colorful. I can't decide if it gutsy or simply foolhardy

! But, I think the B & W version is pretty dramatic so for now, at least, I'm sticking with it.

Stunningly beautiful shot, Endre! I love how a B&W image really makes you focus on the details. Flowers are so valued for their colors and shapes, but by denying the eye the color you really help us see the shape and texture and light even better. Bravo.
