Man; sad news indeed. I know Dave more from another forum that I frequent, but will post here too that he definitely will be missed. May you rest in peace Dave. Better place you are then here where the angels will confort you.
Im sorry to hear this. May you rest in peace Dave.
When I first started posting on this forum, you really impressed with your sparrow series, a great inspiration
So long buddy.
One of the nicest people on ANY forum. Great photographer, wonderful sense of humor, never read a mean word from him to anybody. I always looked forward to his posts. I'm so sorry for his family and loved ones. He inspired, encouraged and made us laugh. Rest in peace, Dave.
Very sad news for the N&W forum. Dave was gracious enough to take time from his life to give me tips on how to better my photo's on several occasions. I always looked forward to his posts and tried to learn from his expertise. RIP Dave...
Hey good Buddy, I thank you for the talks we had on the phone and wish we could have met so all I can say now is, Thanks for the memories on FM, your great tips, and great photography. I am proud to have known you and peace be with your family.
Lou
My sincere condolences to Dave's family and friends. I haven't been on FM very much lately and saw the news through Art Morris's newsletter. I have wonderful memories of Dave's participation in N&W, his photos, his great sense of humor, his creativity, and his willingness to share his skills with others. Thanks Dave!
I am not there, I do not sleep.I am a thousand winds that blow;I am the diamond glints on the snow.I am the sunlight that ripened grain;I am the gentle autumns’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush,I am the swift uplifting rush,Of quiet birds in circled flight.I am the soft star that shines at night.Do not stand at my grave and cry.I am not there; I did not die.
Dave you will live on in your photographs
