Lawyers!

That's apparently not an urban myth, AFAIK. Crazy!

(No, I don't work for RBC. I don't think I could ever work for a bank)

Hey, that Tamron 17mm is surprisingly sharp! - but egads, it looks like you shot during an earthquake, with the building swaying back & forth. (brave workers, indeed!)

Maybe Optics Pro has a module for this lens? I don't think so, but it's worth checking.

I feel really bad for those concrete slabs!

Cableaddict,

This was the first time I have ever used PS to do perspective correction. There is a very good chance that I did it completely wrong, because I was literally "just clicking on shit." This is how I do most things

So, no, there is no rhyme nor reason as to why my version ended up crushed by the Monty Python foot, other than the fact that I have no effing clue how to use PS.

No, I know. It did happen. His name was Garry Hoy, he worked for the biggest (corporate) firm in Toronto [Holden Day Wilson], until they collapsed a year or so after his untimely death.

The moral of this story is... Just because your friends are lawyers, doesn't mean they can sue on your behalf.

or something to that effect.

sorry for the late responses. i took these on the afternoon of January 27 from the 22nd floor. it's interesting how difficult it is to get a clear shot handheld through dirty windows @ 200mm on a dim dull day.

Jim, nice shots! It is cool to see this project from a different vantage point.

It appears the project is currently stalled. I have heard that it is due to yet another incident of falling debris. This time, a piece of wood from the scaffolding blew off in a wind storm and crashed into the building I work in, breaking three windows and sprinkling huge shards of glass onto the street and sidewalks below. The police closed that portion of the street for the better part of the day, and work on the scaffolding has not resumed since then.
