Ancient VW struggling to survive.... I like the tone and the mood created by the vignette. I might have toned it a bit to make it say "retro" a little louder. Nice shot!
I like it. I also play with this particular vignetting style. I think its too distinct upper right. As Jeff said, this would also work toned, and, with grain added.
Pete,
I also like this a lot.
My knowledge of gravity and vertical surfaces of glass and steel being what they are, I am really puzzled that the snow is gone from the roof and sides of the camper, but is sticking out WAY TOO FAR from the front of the vehicle. How is that possible?
Charlie
Neat shot. If you want, you can let your imagination believe that tiny branch is holding up the snow on the front!
This thing will never be forgotten though. Way too many people would probably love to get their skilled hands on it and do a rebuild!

Wonderful shot and I like the PP. I imagine the snow slid forward off the roof and if the sun is from back and top then the front windshield would stay in the shadow and thus stay cold. Really nice shot and I too would like to see it maybe in sepia or with some grain.
Robert
BTW tell me where the poor thing is and I'll come rescue it. I have a thing for rebuilding old Westfalias.

Nostalgia is fine, and those VW campers were great when you were camping. I had one, though, and when I was driving down 2-lane highways at a mere 50 MPH and a car passed going the other way, I was reminded that my only protection against any kind of frontal collision was a thin piece of steel and the windshield.
To all who lived through owning one of them... "Salud."
Still a good pic, though .
