It's amazing! If you have the android or iphone. I'm personally waiting for my phone service to expire so I can get an android. It would be my first choice.
Square ROCKS!!!! I have two accounts with them. One for my wifes Tutu business www.heartbreakkids.com and one for my computer consulting business.
They aren't the cheapest game in town but they work and the pricing is fair IMO. My wife was at a small social event the other day and sold ~20 more tutus then she would have with out it. Most if not all of her customers thought it was a great idea and had no problem using it.
BTW, it also records the GPS info of the transactions to prevent change backs.
NOTE: They have a $1,001 weekly limit for depositing money in your account. You can charge what ever you want but they will only give you $1,001 per week. It's their way of limiting liability to charge backs. They say if you contact them you can have this raised but be warned. Also they are very up front with this policy and why they have it.
This company is going places, they have a great idea.
Evan, if anything, accepting credit cards can facilitate instant gratification on the consumer's part by giving them the ability to make a purchase, any purchase, right now.
It can also make the purchase "affordable".
It also infers that you, the business, are reputable. Not that you weren't already, but it's akin to a third party endorsement.
It also, if you're savvy, helps add *value* to your offerings/products/services.
