in fact. it looks like, but not the jpg on my harddrive. it is just when i watch or link it at flickr.

below you can see a crop of the file on my harddrive.

... it is the same file as originally uploaded, but the flickr resizing seems to sharpen it.

Can someone tell me what are the MMJ serial numbers here?
I'm seeing some 8xxxxxx, some 7xxxxxx, is it the year of the production?

Ok guys I have a huge problem!
I wanted to fix infinity focus on my hft version of this lens and i unscrewed all three screws and rotated focus ring too much....I disassembled the lens... ( The problem is that I dont know how to put it back together.

If someone has experience how to do it I would be extremely happy to get instructions.

Thanks in advance!

That Rollei version is a bear to work on. There are too many things that could go wrong, but I will try.

Put the front part of lens face down on a table. Hold the back bayonet part over front part lining up the 2 slider bars that are 180 degrees apart and the aperture finger with the appropriate slot in the lens body. Lower the bayonet part onto the front part. Take a pin or thin screwdriver to insert into the hole on the brass helical ring and turn CCW while holding the 2 pieces still in alignment. If your lucky, they will thread together. However, there is another aperture part that also needs to be positioned correctly once the 2 pieces thread together.

Good Luck.

This is why I got mine! I love this kind of rendering. Stitching could be improved
BTW guys, if anyone is looking for a pristine like new condition MMJ,
late serial #, drop me a line. Got two in my hands, will be posting one
for sale this week. It's not gonna be cheap, but hard to find a cleaner copy.

ui, ... correct. I did not note that error. it seems to be due to the line in the posters on the column, which are in line with the error. seems to be a software problem. i would have to better define common points of the pictures close to the error zone.

however, another picture of that day. same column, also 3 picture stitch:

edit: oh, i see ... also not perfect. some small errors, ... hm ... need to practise
