uhh... 30 is my favorite shot of all these. otherwise there is some decent critique in there that i appreciate, albeit slightly over the top. you have to understand that there are a lot of stylistic choices here.

also, i take the lens hood off

42 is really nice. Composition and Post processing ...

I would clone out the people in the backgroud.

Great set overall.

The over the top was intentional for humor. Set's great... I mean go through my critique and assign the implied "WIN/FAIL" and consider that I usually expect a session that generates 5 great images to be a WIN... so you've way more than exceeded that mark

I still can't believe that 30 is your favorite, but I like it that way because your favorite vs. my C&C definitely reinforces the concept that different strokes for different folks...

on the other hand it's kind of freaky... I mean especially if it's REALLY your favorite.. because it makes me wonder if I've ever cut an image from a set that would have been the client's FREGGIN FAVORITE.

For the record, here's why I don't dig 30...

1. his right hand is amputated by the crop
2. their hands together are also chopped
3. his expression looks like he was midsentence
4. her expression is hard to decypher due to lack of contrast but it looks like a tight-lipped semismile
5. crop @ top is tangential to her, chops his hat
6. centered composition

That said I love the light in the shot, and I like the contrast ratio between the subjects and the background, but not enough to overcome 1-6 above

And no I didn't add this to somehow stomp on your fave... I'd really be interested in your thoughts on those items and/or your assessment of why 30 is your fave... I really am somewhat concerned right now that I MAY BE deleting potential favorites here... help a man out, willya?

Ciao!

P.S. And the hood thing was totally TIC... I takes the Hood off too

lol yeah I didn't take out anything that they would like. believe me.

30 is my "personal" favorite because it reconnected me clearly with the atmosphere at the time and made me remember exactly what was going on, and it wasn't set up or anything (duh)... it put a smile on my face.

i also have incredibly bad adhd, so when something actually clears my mind I tend to dwell on it.

#42 and 48 are strong. Digging the olde-tyme 20's/30's/40's look from them, and you started to take advantage in 2-3-4 with the spot lighting, but it turned into a standard portrait session until the last few. 42 is way better than 43 because the leading lines lead me right away from the couple in 43, plus there's distracting background people in 43-- whereas the leading lines go straight to the couple in 42.

Other comments.. too many images for an esesh- 50? That's a lot for a wedding. 10, maybe 20. Dude looks Dominican, not that it means anything. I like that they had character in their outfits. They will make interesting clients for sure.

And thanks for posting, this is the first image post I've seen from you/noticed.

Neat style, I really liked 18 and 42. 42 I'd crop the person out on the left, keep the focus on the couple. Thanks for sharing,
Ron
