These are some nice poses, Will. I think he was doing a fly by, just to have his picture taken. The position of the wings in #1, with the shadow on his wings, is just plain cool. #2 is my favorite, though. It is crispy sharp and shows off the underside of the wings, nicely. I think he may be saluting you in #3. Sandies are on my Bucket list. Someday....someday!
Wonderful Job Will, right place, right time, proper preparation and $1500. at the local tatoo parlor make for a phenomenal Photo, hahaha. Just kidding
As has been said, we all make our own luck and the time you spend in the field perfecting your technique and skill is all too apparent with the images you consistently post
Thanks for sharing

Boy oh Boy............! That sure took a lot of patience and work on your part to capture the shadow of the head of another Sandy on that wing in #1!
Great series and wonderful captures.
Larry
Finally!...someone appreciates all the effort that went into this
Thanks very much, Larry

but they haven't figured out what to do with it just yet.
Many thanks, Nello!

That's very kind of you, Larry. I'm thinkin' it's time well invested, my kids would argue that.
"Dad, shoot more people....that's where the money is!" They have a point, but wildlife seldom talks back.
Thanks again!
