^ Me neither. I dropped the suit and tie at the same time I started to leave the tripod in the car. Nothing against them, but now I'm "free" to explore different angles, suits just don't work any longer.
At the video production where I work, we have logo shirts that the owner likes us to wear while on location. Then again, we're a 14 person company and not a one or two person shop.
I wouldn't put my name/logo on a shirt and wear it to a wedding or e-session.

I think Tony S did it best with his smart button shirt.
Someone tell him to post it...
You talkin' to me?
I *love* clothes with my logo on it. For every company I've started or worked for, I've tried to have branded something. I'm a junkie for that stuff. But for my photography business, I've never done it. For weddings, I tend to dress up, so logos don't really make much sense there, but I do like Chris' idea for casual wear. Maybe I'll make up some stuff with my little circle logo...
I think the logo'ed clothing would be fine for general events but not for formal occasions such as weddings. May I suggest a lapel pin or nametag for your morning suit or tuxedo?
proper dress at a wedding is *key* to looking like you *should* be there... polo shirts and other informal means of dress only serve to make you look slobbish... sure, sometimes you may need to compromise on a few things for you to be able to do your job... but don't be the one to drag the mode of dress at an occasion down...
Funny, I was talking with the banquet coordinator at a high end resort here, and he was chuckling cause the photog the night before had on a suit. He said, "I can always tell the newbies, cause they wear a suit and tie; you guys that do this all the time all seem to wear the same black shirts" I thought that was quite funny indeed.

Tony/Marcel - what do you wear instead of a suit?
I dress for comfort. Casual dress - khaki's, golf shirt. Both in good repair, clean and ironed. Shoes polished, socks matching shoes or pants. Basic stuff. Last wedding (outdoor one, kinda chilly) I wore my leather jacket as well. It has that "rugged / worn" look to it, but it sorta "fits" - my hair is never styled and I keep a very short stubble beard. What people see at a meeting, is what they get at the wedding. Keep a big smile on my face and try to be charming and easy going. And yes - I'll have a beer at the reception.

^^^ You should put, "MY JOB IS TO SHOOT PEOPLE"
There's a photographer down here who has "I SHOOT PEOPLE" in big letters on the back of her car. In much smaller letters it says something about outdoor portrait photography. No web address with it, just a phone number (not sure what that means).
