What distracts me most about this image is the model's hair - it seems as if she has a bulb growing out of her head. I guess it's just the angle of the shot but I find that more distracting than any of the preceding issues mentioned.
The background elements, horizontal lines and such are bothersome and competing with the model. I would bring down the top half of the wall to the floor to cover these distracting elements.
Can't agree more, the model shot is good except the background element。 The horizontal line is a big disruption for the harmony of the overall vertical atmosphere.
The pose is nice, but the way her left (our right) arm looks, looks odd. Maybe just a little towards the camera more. She looks to be wearing dark, smokey eye make-up, but still looks like her eyes could use some more light.
