Really nice series, Barry. I really like that lonely tree in the first, but am somewhat partial to the richness of the deep brown with the slight bit of light in the last shot.
Like them all. That lonely tree and the clouds work wonders for #1. #3 and #4 are both excellent, but #4 works better for me as the lost jetty receives more emphasis. Great stuff.
#1 and 3 for me Barry. I am always left scratching my head over the lack of trees in images of Scotland so it's fun to see what the scene looks like when there is one to see
That last one has some amazing reflections - very nice work.
Lovely to see these fine shots of Glen Etive , Barry , especially as I have yet to actually get to Loch Etive proper . The first time I tried I was defeated by snow and ice ; the second time was during a torrential rainstorm a few weeks ago , with the river in full spate and numerous rivulets coursing across the road . I abandoned the attempt when I ran into rising and surging floodwaters towards the bottom end and beat a hasty retreat ! Next time , perhaps ?
