Very nice set Tim and good decision to take some time off when the weather is still good.
Love the one of the launch into flight, it almost jumps off the screen. Neat one of the tired Heron too

That hawk hangs around there. All I could get was his back. Then he changed branches so I could get a better shot and the crows came immediately and ran him away. Great shots Tim.

So that's the secret I leave and the Hawks show up for Tim
Your perseverence and patience always reward buddy, 3 beauties of the Hawk, especially the take-off! Good to see you found the Blue as I thought he had headed for the hills Another super fine installment my friend, till next time bro

What a cool find Tim! Wonderful rich colors on the RT. I am thinking the BG in #2 is a bit too strong of blue? Maybe that shadow on the head could easily be cloned as I am guessing you must have removed the branch that cast it I sure like this dark-morph stage, just beautiful!
Wow that third shot is wild man, talk about coming right at you Very nice light and presentation on the GBH, good shooting Mr Steady hands
Karl
Hi Karl,
When he landed on the first perch my heart just took off!! I got 2 good angles on him before he moved to higher perch. Yes 2 is too blue, I should have used a different layer for just the bg. Ugg that shadow 3 he did come right at me! Seriously, I think he was going for something in the reeds in front of me but chickened out at the last second. He was stalled in the air about 10 feet in front of me, we just looked at each other eye to eye. Real cool. These hands aren't THAT steady, I had to delete the 1/125th shots
