Good Morning, Ute. Thanks for the kind remarks. The starburst that you are seeing was from a camper light on the beach that the ladies were using. No processing was done to create it. I left it in, not certain whether it was a good thing or not.
Very special image. That was the scene as you were able to capture it, so it should stand on its' own. Everything that went into creating the image is great and I think it would be dimished somewhat to alter it. You can also see the effect on the lights in the background.

Great shot with outstanding colors. And yes, the starburst should definitely stay, IMO! *IF* I were to eliminate anything, it would be the lights on the pier. w/o the starburst light, those would probably be a little distracting. But as presented, I think all the lights accent each other and the scene extraordinarily well.
