A half page ad in our local direct mail magazine is more than $500 a month, if there is a lot of foot traffic it will be well worth the expense for the advertising
Rent and utilities will be tough, but even tougher will be finding the capital to decorate and furnish the place. I'm still pondering, and the owner is waiting on someone else to make a decision that looked at it last weekend, anyway.
Oh, and the side room is 22x16 with 10 foot high ceilings... cramped, but possible.
Wow- I am looking at almost the same situation. I have an opportunity to get a space (looked at it last night) for $500 a month. Not a store front, but that's not really what I'm after. I'm also looking for space for meetings and pre-planning/purchasing sessions. I have a somewhat small house and it's pretty nice, but does not in any way achieve the perceived value I want customers to have about me and my business.
I also would like to do projection and that isn't possible at all in my home. I think the move would be benificial.
Risky, for sure (because I have to sign a 1 year lease)- but I think it would be worth it.
I'd do it in a heartbeat. Too bad I can't get $500 storefront space in North Jersey. Well, maybe I could in Newark, but then I'd have to spend extra money on guns, ammo, and bullet proof vests.

That's plenty of space. I shoot in a 11x27 space...
