My favorite photographer hands down is Donald Miralle, from getty Images. He has been awarded the best sports photographer before. His creative perspectives are why he is my favorite. He gets angles and perspectives that makes you wonder how he envisioned that and really goes outside the box.

The problem is, you don't know anything that you don't know. To say this another way, you can't learn anything new from your favorite photographer.
Let's not be hasty with that, eh.
If we can accept that sometimes Zoomer doesn't know what is that he is doing, and if something good comes out of it thru sheer luck, then he might be able to learn something new from it.
From an article about Rihanna in today's New York Times...
Credited as an art director on "Rated R", she [Rihanna] spends her off time looking at fashion photography for visual inspiration. "Jean-Paul Goude is amazing", she said. "Helmut Newton is by far my favorite, because not only is everyone almost always naked, but they look good naked, and a lot of them have weapons in their hands."
