Excellent shot and fwiw I don't care how or what got it. It ought to be on the wall......
Thank you, James! I consider the source/check the gear/see no ISO3200 shots...just a runnin' mouth.
I'm thankful to Fred, for the "hide me" button.
I guess you had to sneak-up on them and set-off a 'cracker' shell to get them to take flight like that, sooo early in the morning. Just kidding!!
Seriously...Great shot! I don't think I've ever seen that many sandhill cranes in a single image before (cropped or full-frame).
So as the saying goes: The early "monkey" gets the epic "sandy" shot Or something like that.
Dave thanks a lot, Dave. I dunno...Mr Zoom may have a grab or two that puts me back to training wheels. It was a sight to see and hear that's for sure!
That's one heck of a capture , Will! Will you be able to join us 3 weeks from now to go to that spot or at least give us a pointer where exactly that spot is, please ? Thanks!
Will this is calendar/cover photo material. I think you really out did yourself this time.
It`s a beaut! Take care. Bob
PS I don`t think you can buy photos of this quality. Give yourself credit. It was the man behind the camera that took the photo. You knew where and when. You knew the tool & its settings. You`re the man!
