Your title is also misleading: it isn't NBC, it's the SNL production team..
It's not "MY" title, it's "THE" title.
The authors title. I just posted the link.
So take it up with the author if you think it's misleading. The same title was used by a half-dozen other authors.
The video copyright is NBC, it was broadcast by NBC. It is a NBC production. Shot with a Canon 5D2.
Only you would try to minimize the fact that a large national television network uses 5D2's in their productions.

the only time I've seen someone using it for video professionally was at this past NY Fashion Week...when a still photographer flipped into video mode to record a couple of clips just to satisfy his own curiosity, noting out loud that his client wouldn't have any use for it and probably would never even see it.
If that's the only time you've seen a 5D2 used professionally for video you need to get out more. Start by following some of the links I provided in this thread, if you need more just let me know. Or easier yet, just turn on your TV.
Your personal bias against the 5D2 is showing badly.
We use it mostly for creative shot, e-session, talking heads.....using the video capability of the 5D MKII and now the 7D. The problem is you can only shoot for so many minutes at a time.
