Awesome photographs; I've seen another similar perspective on the crack but not as vivid in color. I will be looking for more photos from the narrows from your trip.

Hey Steve,

2 cool looking shots here. I really like the way the leaves are spread out in that crack shot. Especially that larger red one towards the bottom.

So how long will the leaves stay on the ground like that before they are washed away?

Jim, They go with the flow, when the flow is too high you won't find any leaves just sitting there and the guy with the bag of them will go nuts because they won't stick.

Thanks Camera Buff. I'll try to post more even though I just returned from a fall color in San Diego trip. I took another version of this one as well. Too many decisions... . .

Two terrific shots, Steve. I vote for the first as my top choice. Might be tempted to tone down the blue water just a tad. The leaves add so much interest to the image. Wonderful detail on both.
