Yakim, the lack of Live View is what has stopped me getting straight into a Sony 850 or 900: I need LV for tilt, to have any confidence of accuracy. With the D700's LV, there is no doubt at all, and I use LV as often as the viewfinder (especially for architecture or products).
I too, find LV extremely useful when I tilt. I also considered - and dismissed - the 850 based on that issue.

Quick follow-up. Received the lenses and adapter today. Tried some shots inside with and without flash. Nasty weather here. When we get some sun again, need to try them outside at various f-stops. Initial reaction is that they are sharp and colors look good.
These lenses were rentals and had the initials of the business on them in pink paint. Small and in area that can be cleaned. They recommend Goofoff spray for plastics from Home Depot. Takes it off easily. Just be careful with amount used and where you let it go. For the price, it was little effort.
The lenses look great; no sign of wear, no dust inside, no glass issues, no fungus and blades move just as they should. In short, a very satisfactory deal....Show more →
Beware. This is the start of a slippery slope.
BTW, we also have a nasty weather but the other way around. Almost no rain at all.
I have emailed Markus telling him that I want to put this adapter on a D700—I thought for some reason that he had Nikon F mount as one of the options. I will report back.

Subject: Re: [english 100%] T/S adapter: M645 lens and Nikon body
Dear Mr Peled,
a TS-Adapter (for Mamiya 645 lenses / Nikon camera) is not possible. To long distance from the film to the lense edition (focus to infinity not possible).
For this reason we don´t have this connection in our Program.
The only possibility would be our TS-Adapter (for Mamiya 645 lenses / M42). You then could attach different M42-Adapters to it. (Such as: Canon EOS, Minolta, Nikon)
(The Nikon Adapter has a lens according to our Information to compensate for the difference in the distance).
For good results it will be of advantage to remove this lens. (Only local area possible). You should, however, test this yourself.
Please take into account: At the type of our TS-Adapter with M42 connection, it can come to easy deviations due to tolerances in the M42 thread at the horizontal and vertical orientation at your camera.
The German VAT amounts 19%.
With this information (international) you can transfer the total amount to our account.
DHL and Deutsche Post cooperate in Germany.
Yakim, I must say that the info. contained in Markus' response seems (to me, anyway) contradictory.
Why would Mamiya 645 > Mirex TS adapter (M42) + M42–Nikon F work, but Mamiya 645 > Mirex TS adapter (with Nikon F mount) *not* work? And the lens that the M42–Nikon adapter has—what is that? A kind of retro-focus device to compensate for the flange–sensor difference?
Frankly, I am more confused, because here is the response I got from Markus this a.m.:
Many thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately, we must inform you that a use of our TS-Adapter for Mamiya 645 lenses is not possible for camera to Nikon (Leica). The flange back of these camerae is too high so that the focusing is open infinitely no longer possible.
We could alternatively offer you the following.
Shift-Adapter for Mamiya 645lenses / Nikon camera.
Or Tilt-Shift Adapter for Hasselblad lenses / T2 (t-mount), plus T2 Adapter for Nikon.
Why would the Mirex TS adapter for Hassy lenses work, but the adapter for M645 not work? Or is it that the Hassy lenses innately have a greater flange–sensor difference, allowing the TS adapter to sit in between on Nikons?
I will ask him to describe the precise setup for Hasselblad–Mirex TS–Nikon (maybe even a picture!). I am (or course) perfectly happy to use a Hassy 80/2.8 (checked prices on KEH, too; plenty there) on the TS adapter. We will get there!
