This has happened to mine also, i've took it to Nikon Service today. (09/11/2009)
They said by Friday (13/11/2009) it should be ok, as it will probably "just need cleaning from the inside"
Have anyone has though that it's could be something else and not a "sealing issue"?
I am thinking that it could be a reaction of the adhesive of the glass to the inside non reflective coating...
Mine is still at Nikon. Today they told me that they are looking what approach should the follow... They don't know yet if they have to open it or if the can replace it without. (pull the glass out or whatever)
Have they told you if they had to open the camera, or not?
