5, 7 and 11b are the best of the group followed by #1.
5 really captures all the is a drummer with his kit and has the rock god edge it is best imo.
I also drum and these are some fantastic shots. Are the stick blurs real or done in post? He will be very pleased with these.
Is the 1ds2 everything you dreamed of?
This is a pretty extensive kit as a drummer I wish the drums were DW
How is the PLM did you use the diffusion cover or just shoot it bare?

Thanks all for the kind words, I'll try and get the questions.
- PLM was silver w/o diffusion.
- Stick blur is real, very little posta ctually went into these aside from crop/levels/
- Their are some 2nd curtain sync shots on the 5DII batch of files, but I haven't really touched them yet.

Definitely. These are as much about the kit and those behind it's existence as it is the drummer. I have a shot of this rig from about every angle imaginable!
Right on dude! I'd be very proud of those too. You did a good job with interesting light and placement of light. You don't see much split lighting anymore and you used it to great creativity here, such as in pic 3. Thanks for sharing these. They were inspiring!
