9 is my favorite,
6 is good if it could get a clear shot ( can see the blur at teeth area). I would not choose it tho.

Superb series of shots Ben. You've got a great looking model here, I'm pretty sure you guys had a blast shooting. You've captured her beauty very well. How did you achieve those tones in first couple of shots? LR presets?

I like your tight crops a lot better than the wide shots, actually I didn't like the wides ones at all.

p.3 #6 · MODEL: Julia...FEEDBACK?

Please take this with a grain of salt, since I am just starting getting into photography. Based on most of the photos, I thought to myself, "He must use the center focus point." Why did I think that? Look at the position of your model in nearly all the shots (esp. the first series). #6 was the first one that made an impact on me and part of that could have been because it was the first one with a shallow depth of field, off center focus, and the mode filled a lot of the frame. I definitely felt like a lot of your photos could have used cropping as I find a lot more drama in photos where the subject is not directly in the center (obviously you don't have to always heed to the rule of thirds, but there is some good qualities to considering it) and is larger in the frame. I'm assuming in the beach scenes you wanted to include the actual ocean and beach, but I still think you could have done that with a change in perspective by getting closer to the model and/or with more zoom.

Additionally, you have shots in which the model is wearing sunglasses. That makes sense since it is a beach scene, but the eyes can be so powerful in a shot, that it seems a shame to cover them up (esp. since your model has nice eyes).

The photos are fun and I'm sure you had a great time doing them, so please don't see this as a criticism, but more as another perspective. As I stated at the beginning, I have limited photography experience compared to everyone here, so I could be way off base.

Thanks for posting.

Nice sense of having fun! She looks like a joy to photograph.
I enjoy the ones where you fill the frame with her. I'm not a huge "roolz nawtsi", but she seems centred a bit more than I'd like, if it was me.
And that head chopping thing mystifies me. I usually can figure out compositions when I am "surprised" by a composition, but I couldn't justify the headchop for my own photomind.
This is totally me, but it feels random and unjustified.
But, hey, it's a big world and we can't "get" everything!
Nice shots on the whole. Thank you for sharing.

I'd be great if any of them had her looking into the camera (without glasses on)
