A guy that I trained with many years ago, Frank Kelly, used a Nikon body, probably the F2 with the small prism with no meter and two Nikon lenses; 35mm F1.4 Ais and 50mm F1.2 Ais for all of his weddings. His spare body was in the car.
I tend to use my lenses in pairs. 12/24 & 80-200, 90 Tamron & 300 AFS. When I take just one lens its the lowly 24-85 D - a great "normal lens" with pretty good macro.
