Bought a refurbished 70-200 2.8 IS from Adorama with Mack warranty. IS failed and was repaired quickly and no headaches.

why buy those mack warranties when you can sign up for canon CPS and/or get insurance.

1. You need to have a lot of high dollar equipment to be a CPS member and repairs are not always free.
2. Insurance has deductibles

why buy those mack warranties when you can sign up for canon CPS and/or get insurance.

I just thought of a crazy idea as well, hey Mack, you guys rock for having someone that actually goes and looks for customer service issues and works to get them resolved. Way to go for connecting with customers through their homes.
