Very nice overall, except for the crotch shots, as others have mentioned. I like the dof and composition on these shots! I also think he looks like Elijah Wood.
I agree, lot of crotch shots for me. You have some excellent ones, but there are so many that are similar that it makes the set look weaker than it really is.
The B&W and desaturated conversions are no good for me.

nice shots, save for the crotch shots I think he will be really happy.
Doug
after looking at the images...I was literally coming to post exactly this ^^ except not sign it "Doug"
Whoa, big set! Some sameness going on in more than a few, but very likable, he's a good looking guy, and you had some creative shots. I could do with a bit less extremely short DOF on some, and I'd like to see a bit more personality leak through from him.
There's some strong images, but there's just too many of virtually the same thing. More than anything else, this set needs culling. And some more contrast. And to clone out his zits... seriously, it takes like 2 seconds.
Usually excessive posting means excessive pride. That doesn't mean to imply that they are bad. And making comments on so many involves too much scrolling back and forth. It's just that you got carried away in posting, a little bit. Well, maybe a lot. This kind of thing illlustrates perfectly my take on the definition of snapshots. But please, just let it lay? I don't intend to start another war.

I'm not a pro, but I do make good money from my work. Last year, I did some senior shots with a girl who I thought looked 'better' with a more serious face. (not smiling) Her father was somewhat miffed about the fact and only liked the ones where she showed her teeth. Luckily for me, I took plenty of shots with and without smiles, but it was a first experience for me. Ever since then, I've learned to make sure to get a mix of everything.
As a photographer, it's not always about what you like.
4, 7, 12 and 14 are really nice! solid work overall.
some critique-- not digging the processing on 2, almost makes me think of selective coloring because its desaturated so much. personally i almost never dig heavy desaturation, i say either do bw or keep the colors vibrant on these. just me.
