I like the semi abstract feel to this image...that peace requires the shedding of blood. Though a bit outside the symbolism of my faith - I almost wish there were a spike in the lowest wound, and a cross bar of wood.
As it is written...
"No greater love has anyone (man) than to lay down their (His) life for a friend."
