I love to capture some interesting hummer poses in flight and you never know
what you'll get. And that's why I keep doing it. When you see all these images,
you may notice that the placement of the flower looks a little odd in
some images. That's because just before the hummer showed up, a breeze swept
the whole set, making the flower tilted to the left. But I just kept on clicking the shutter.
The sharpness in #6, especially on the hummer's head was compromised
because of a strong ambient light.
They are not fireworks show but something for you to enjoy.
I am looking at these in awe Hide. Fantastic and well balanced on this set. The BG's are wonderful and exciting as to compliment the color and engergy of these hummers. Really enjoyable to see so many great shots and #7 is a most pleasing shot!
Hide,
Your hummingbird shots are fantastic! Everything put together so well.
Framing, exposure, everything is just right on. Are you using mutiple flashes for these shots?

Thank you for your very kind words,Karl. I found #7 very interesting in that except the flower and the BG,it doesn't show any colorful color on the hummer
and it's almost like B&W and I thought that contrast makes this image interesting.

Hi Kent,
I'm glad you like them. I used 5 flashes for these shots.
Wow, these are awesome captures.....
I just got through shooting some Hummer activity buzzing around my deck feeders and haven't reviewed/processed them yet.
Probably be hesitant to post em' after viewing your amzing shots!....
Some magnificient fireworks here, Hide. Looks like you saved your best for this 4th of July...but then again, you keep outdoing yourself with every post. Angles are simply awesome!
Gorgeous work. photos are spectacularly gorgeous. I can't pick one (well maybe #1 or # 6) as a favorite.......would want to make a wall set of the whole group.
