pilles - I really appreciate you taking the time to give an honest critique. While I do disagree with some of the points that you made (since some of the things you pointed out were intentional decisions by me), they are all noted and you did make some good points. Again, thanks for the critique.
transoptic - I agree with you on the model having the same expression. This was her second time posing for anyone (and the first time was with me), so it's more my fault than hers for not directing her enough. I am very bad when it comes to posing and the like, so that's an area that I really need to improve (but don't really know how to do so). In the past, I've just let the models "do their thing" and for someone as inexperienced as her, that means a lot of the same looks. So yeah, my fault for sure.
I think they are great shots. Yes, change the direction she's looking every once in a while, but as far as the whole empty space thing, it's fine.
But #3 made me laugh because it made me think she has not pants on cuz she was waiting for them to dry!

All of the pictures were intentional by you. That's why you should seriously be looking at those points, or I wouldn't have brought them up..

pilles - thanks for the tip. I already do that to a certain extent but I guess I have to start paying more attention to the posing and not just the overall photograph!
