After a few emails back and forth, pknicks and I settled on a price for this lens. He gave me his paypal address and six hours later I credited his account for the full amount of money. He quickly refunded me saying that the lens had already been sold. This is neutral feedback because I am now out $500 until paypal processes the refund (3-4 days) and this issue would be avoided with proper communcation.
While his lens seemed like it was in good shape, and he was very helpful in the initial stages of correspondance, I wouldn't recommend dealing with pknicks if you want a clean and professional transaction. When I told him about paypal's refund policy so he could avoid this in the future, he quickly replied with "hey guy, sorry, but don't get wise with me".
