I left a PM/email for his 1D Mk 2 one night with extra battery. He sent email to me and called me next morning. We settled the deal with a paypal transaction, split fee. He shipped out the same day overnight, with tracking number. Received 9:35 AM the next morning.
Result: I'm about $4500 lighter, but am loving it! He called to confirm receipt and satisfaction. What a guy!

Got a wonderful lens for a great price. My purchase with gfiksel went smooth as silk -- prompt responses, fast shipping, sturdy packaging.
I add kudos to GregM because gfiksel adopted Greg's original description of the lens (with Greg's permission and after gfiksel's own review). GregM gave a very accurate description of the lens and, if anything, exaggerated any possible defects to be totally on the safe side. (In particular, GregM suggested there might be extremely light scratches on the lens. I've looked and looked and can't find them!)
