A little FYI:
This was a USA/Canada deal done with a USD$ Canada Post Money Order.
The USD$ CPMO took 5 days to reach Ray in California
and the USPS shipped/insured package took 12 days
to go from Ray in California back to me in BC.
I think most of those 12 days were with the package sitting at Canada Customs as Ray had shipped the kit the day after recieving payment.
I had to pay PST(CAD$10.32), GST(CAD$9.63) & a "Handling fee"(CAD$5.00) to receive the package. The charges were based on a USD$100 insured value converted to CAD$137.60 by Canada Customs.
I posted a WTB, Evan (glasdriver) responded with what I was looking for and had it in my hands 2 days later. Evan is definately an asset to this forum.
Chris actually lives a few miles from me, and we just met to complete the sale of his 100-400. Chris is a great guy, and this is a beautiful lens, just as he described.
