I would agree with so many of the other posters. I think that with the technology age, magazines, books, forums etc it is so hard to not be influenced by photography that you love. I feel like browsing others work helps me to become more familiar with concepts and style that fits my own. Helps me to identify things that are important to me in my own photography, things that I may not have even been aware I preffered. I often will do research regarding posing, as in the actual logistics of the physical form but feel it is wrong to just blatently copy anothers shot. Even though it is diff camera, couple, light, location etc I feel it is the motive behind the shot that is in question. Trying to look like someone else will never be ok in my book, just be yourself!
I have blatantly borrowed a couple ideas from folks on this site, when I do I give them credit for the idea if I post the picture here.
Maybe not really necessary but makes me feel better.
