Thanks, CP Nice next shot, too. Actually, the 135L is my oldest Canon lens. It's the Canon lens that made it ok for me to get rid of my Contax film equipment to finance the move to Canon digital. I don't use it enough -- the Sigma 50 and TS-E 90 are on the camera a lot more but the 135L never fails to please.
Thanks Kop, I find the plants and flowers in my backyard, public parks, and the botanical gardens. I was extremely fortunate to happen upon the day a cactus flowered, took several pics, and returned the next day to do more work on the compositions. Gone, the flower just dehydrated and was gone. So, ya gotta be ready, so I take the camera with me on local jaunts and grab pics as I can. It has been quite a while since I stopped at the side of the road to grab a quick shot of something I saw. People now ram your car at speed. I have also learned to reduce the time it takes to process the pics, so that helps.
