The FL would be good for static subject but if you have kids like mine the EF would definitely come in very handy.

All too often we fail to see the forrest from the trees.
I do that often.....dig myself into a flower or into a bird, neglecting a larger sort of aesthetics of photography. Live and learn.

That is an exceptional tulip picture. It only takes one great picture to replace an inventory of many poor pictures, imho.

CP, that is real nice.......the lens seems very crisp and clear wide open + first class bokeh.
Here is some wild stuff with the 200 f/2 IS. Noon sunlight (1) and late evening light (2).

Petkal, the LiveView feature from the 5DMK2 really helps -- better focusing, and also from the applied sharpening in the post processing.

Nice "water color" bokeh on #2.
