Bob, that first one is really nice. But I think it would be much better if you cropped away the dark blobs above and at the lower left, and came up from the bottom to above the dead leaves... the flower itself is shown beautifully.

Ah, well - I'm not the one to render an opinion on monochrome images; I see in color, and since the technology in modern times is readily available to make color images, I myself don't have any use at all for black and white. When I started to learn about photography in the 60s, I shot black and white film and developed and printed myself in the base photo hobby shop. But those days are long gone!
