Not sure if anyone's posted this already, but my local pro-shop just sent out a notification saying they received a big box full of these. Will probably pick mine up later today.

I stopped by and talked to the guys at my local shop, they haven't come in just yet but he said they shipped Thursday last week so he expects them tomorrow. It looks like Nikon shipped then from their CA warehouse which means that people on the east cost like me get them last. The wait should be just about over though

Ahh ... I didn't read far enough. I shop at Southeastern mostly ... and they do online but walked to Peace at lunch ... and they talked me into it. Took em' about thirty seconds!

There are also a lot of Nikon refurbished D60 camera bodies out in the market now for around $300. I picked one up last week. It was as new. That's only 1/3 of what a D90 will cost.

Yeah ... I'd love to do that - sometime after this weekend ... there's the Hibernia, with a good selection of brews. I'm right downtown. Also Sarah Be and VickiB live around here .... and don't seem to object to a few beers. ( Sarah uses Image stabilization ... so she can drink a few extra )

Glad to see some raleigh shooters around here. I shoot pentax right now, but the d700 is ever tempting me. I need to stay away from this board or I'll be spending more money
I'm not surprised Peace sold them all so quickly, this lens is looking to be great. That reminds me I need to head over there and pick up some more 120 film.
