Really really cool thing you did here that will be treasured for a lifetime. While my wife is used to me with a camera in my hands I am not so sure she would have been as patient Just kidding. Thanks for sharing an intimate and joyous time in your families lives...it certainly shows in your photos.
Thanks for sharing this. Really cool capture of such a special moment in your families life. Cool wife, too - mine would have told me where I could shove my camera if I tried to take a shot of her during labor.
These are just awesome. Great captures. Great documenting. Killer B&W conversions. Beautiful expressions. +1 on making a story book. You have inspired and captured us with these. Just great.
I wish I had a decent SLR for my kids births I really liked all your pictures, and as a n00b, quite like #9. Congratulations on your new addition to your family
@ kegRaider: a good DSLR is great but it's also good glass-the older DSLRs are still great and even though they don't have all the bells and whistles, a 30D (for instance) with a good lens will go a long way, or even a used 40D-start slowly and build up
Awesome series, much better than my take on my wife's first pregnancy. This would make for an awesome album / story book. That story book alone would sell this kind of service to many. The difficulty is the time and cost. What a gift for your family.
BTW my wife told me that for our soon-to-arrive twins that I can't be doing what you were
You've coaxed yet another lurker out of hiding. These are absolutely spectacular! Every single one of them. As a mom of three I am envious, I don't even have any snapshots from any of their births. Congratulations to you and your wife, thanks so much for sharing.
