Yes, it is now your lens.
I wonder about some of the vignetting I see here. Could it be adapter related., or maybe sensor? Here's one I took handhled - wide open- as sun was setting behind some clouds:

And finally, this was taken with -at least- a graduated ND filter on the end of the Olympus 49-72mm hood/ring. Either that -and-/or a polarizing filter. Mainly so I could take a 15sec exposure:

Anden, I'm sure the 5D2 is a great camera. I considered selling my Angenieux to buy one , but the Kodak SLR/c also works very well with the Zuiko 18/3.5. The pics I have seen from the 5D and 5DII seem to show more vignetting, which is strange because the sensor in the Kodak SLR/c doesn't have any compensation built into the sensor or firmware.

Looking back at these pics I really miss my Zuiko 18/3.5 - and never should have sold it. I was in a frenzy to buy a Nikon 14-24G, which I just sold last week

I think this kind of vignetting is quite normal at 3.5. I see it all the time and "worse"... But itīs gone stopped down to 5.6.
Sorry to hear you regret selling it, of course I understand. I am currently regretting selling my 35L in a frenzy last summer to finance some stuff I dont even remember...

Sometines it's better if we stay away from here
I agree that a little vignetting is normal at f/3.5 (and mostly gone by f/5.6), but it seems like others here are seeing more? Since you are using a 5D with a Kindai adapter, and getting results similar to my SLR/c, maybe it is adapter related?

Nice shots guys. My lovely little Zuiko has been resting for too long!
Regarding vignetting with filters ...has anyone tried a Cokin or a Lee holders on the 18/3.5 Zuiko? I was planning on getting a Lee system but the local photo store didn't have a 72mm thread in stock. I hesitate to spend on it unless I can try it on and am absolutely sure it will not vignette (or give me black corners). I did try a 77mm one on a step-up ring and the holder gave black corners (49-72->72-77 pushes the holder too far out).
Best, Hrannar
Hrannar,
I tried Cokin P for ND grad on my 18. It's a non-starter - black in the corners. I'm trying to decide whether to try a 4x6 for ND grad (it's an expensive experiment). Given the flare issues and the way this lens want to shoot "high sky" there has to be an answer -

I use a Cokin P system (one slot) and have managed to get no mechanical vignetting. I use the original 49-72 hood and a 72-77 step up ring. The filter holder is sandwiched between the 49-72 hood and the 72-77 step up ring. The step up is filed down (on the 77 mm face) enough so that it will not scratch the filter when slotted into the filter holder.

I was just curious about the zuiko 21mm compared to the zuiko 18mm. Aside from the obvious of slightly different field of view, what are peoples thoughts on a differences and similarities between these two? Is the 3x -4x price difference worth it? I am not in this situation, but, if you had $600, would you try to save the difference to get an 18mm for $950+ (or whatever they are going for), or would you settle for a 21mm for ~$300? Any other thoughts? Or is does it come down to nothing more than fov for most people?
I see lots of great pictures with the 18mm, is it the lens, or could all of you take the same pictures with the 21mm and just take a few more steps back?

I sold my 21/3.5 after getting the 18/3.5.
The 21 is a very good lens but I love the 18 and the reason I prefer it to the 21 is the corner sharpness and the wider FOV. It gives a more dramatic look.
The 21 is a great lens for the money. So is the 18...

A
21 corner sharpness is no slouch IMO, and unfortunately I can't afford a 18 in the short term to compare both. Can anyone compare them with pics, esp. regarding corner sharpness? After all landscapes should be the primary use for both lenses

I was not calling the 21 a slouch when it comes to corner sharpness. My own experience is that the 18 is better in the corners on full frame.
Both are very good lenses.

I wasn't happy with the Zuiko 21/3.5's. I tried three or four different copies from SC to late MC. All had poor extreme corner softness that appeared to be coma, astigmatism related. The 18/3.5 is capable of great extreme corner sharpness.
