hey spencer - technically gorgeous images, the lighting is breathtaking - both natural and supplemental.
but my crit is with the posing. lots of hand on hip/hand on rail/hand on lap going on that makes these feel very posey and not at all typical of what i love about your stuff. i'm very used to seeing strong natural connection/emotion and i'm missing that here. (she seems to wear the same expression throughout, even in her bridal stuff, so maybe she's just not a real expressive kind of gal )
i think the vacant expression and what comes off as lack of energy in her carriage may contribute to what mel is saying about her seeming disconnected from the location.
