Really nice, Doug. I like the view very much.... well worth the effort to hike into this spot.
Thanks John. We actually could have parked much closer, as it turns out, but it was a pleasant morning of snowshoeing.

Beautiful, almost fairytale look to that mighty icon; with the frosty trees and the blue touch to the Merced. Nicely composed and shot.
Thanks Martin!

Doug, I was there on Friday. I could hardly see Bridalvail from the parking lot.
I'm not sure how long you stayed but it rained pretty hard for several hours during late afternoon. Around 5PM things broke up and it ended up getting very cold by Saturday morning (~18F)

Damn, that's very nice. Worth the freezing & wet!
Thanks Stan. No "wet or freezing" we were well prepared for the trip and stayed warm and dry (with the possible exception of the middle of the night trip to the bathroom).

Very tranquil scene, and the layers of trees are so effective in the middle ground!
Thanks Hazel!

well composed, really beautiful calming shot!
Thanks Binh. It was a very quiet and tranquil spot. I'm glad that my image shares that.
