2 is definitely the best self portrait I've seen you do so far. The others weren't bad either though, so I have to wonder why you don't use one of them for your avatar?
What model ABs did you pick up? I'm debating between 2 AB800, or 2 AB1600 OR 1 AB800 and 1 AB1600. Considering I don't know anything abotu lighting, I've decided to wait until I do before leaping on the purchase.

It really depends on your studio size. I have a very small working area and in all honesty regret buying an AB1600.

todd, for now, i am firing these with my 580 set to not fire. i am looking into the cyber links as they seem pretty good for the money (vs PWs).
robert, i tend to agree with j here. as i mentioned earlier...i was only looking for a single AB800, but i got an offer that i could not refuse that included 1 1600, 1 800 and 1 400. the 800 should be PLENTY for most uses.
