Maybe it's my monitor, or perhaps I need new glasses, but are her eyes in focus in any of these shots? I love this series by the way. I really like nos. 5 & 7. Regard.
Michael, interesting that you spotted that.
I was asked to lighten her eyes in the pics to a shade of lighter green - seeing as this was done in less than an hour (Post AND shooting!), I didn't do the grandest job and that's probably why they look a bit fuzzy.
A lot of it also had to do with me not having enough light on her face to bring out her natural shade.
Great first set! Ifind the pose in 5 unflattering. Getting low and shoot up for #7 might have been a better angle for that one. That lens sucks - very soft and i don't think it's your focus.
Great set, I don't mind the soft ones at all, they have a dreamy painterly look, just right for the setting and subject. January doesn't look like that around here
I know you said you didn't take a lot of time on the shoot/post, but it looks like you spent the time, you've come up with an enviable shoot of a very photogenic lady. Big-time kudos!
